Supplier Assurance Officer - Latam

Supplier Assurance Officer LATAMAdecco Chile is currently looking for a Supplier Assurance Officer for an international frozen food company. The role is part of the global Supplier Assurance team and is responsible for ensuring food safety, quality and sustainability standards across suppliers in Latin America. The position is remote, with frequent travel across the LATAM region, including Chile, Peru, Ecuador and other countries, according to company guidelines.Main responsibilitiesLead food safety audits for suppliers of frozen fruits, vegetables and herbs.Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and sustainability standards, including GFSI and primary production schemes such as GlobalGAP.Manage corrective action plans and follow up on critical supplier complaints.Support the development and evaluation of new products and suppliers in coordination with procurement and sales teams.Evaluate supplier performance and participate in strategic discussions with procurement.Support supplier onboarding processes.Develop and maintain supplier assurance procedures at a global level.RequirementsBachelor degree in Food Engineering, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Agriculture or related field.Proven experience in the food industry and in auditing processes.Knowledge of GFSI standards and primary production requirements such as GlobalGAP.Advanced and fluent English level is mandatory.Availability to travel regularly within the LATAM region.Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills.Process informationInterviews will be conducted in English.Candidates must submit their CV in both English and Spanish.-Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Universitaria / I.P. / C.F.T.3 años de experienciaPalabras clave: oficial, officer, funcionarioSupplier Assurance Officer LATAMAdecco Chile is currently looking for a Supplier Assurance Officer for an international frozen food company.
